Star Spangled
Banner Birthday
A patriotic celebration that brings our community together to honor the history and significance of the Star-Spangled Banner. Students learn about the national anthem and its importance, culminating in a special event where they sing together.
Spring Ducks &
Butterfly Hatchery
Our students have the unique opportunity to observe the life cycle of ducks and butterflies each spring. They watch ducklings hatch and care for them as they grow, while also witnessing butterflies emerge from their chrysalises. These hands-on experiences teach children about nature and the wonders of life.

We love celebrating the special people in our students’ lives! Each year, we host breakfast events to honor moms, dads, and caregivers. These mornings are filled with smiles, homemade crafts, and delicious treats, giving families a chance to spend quality time together at school.

Advancement
A special milestone for our youngest learners! Our Pre-K Advancement ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of our Pre-K students as they get ready to take the next step into elementary school. It’s a proud moment for students, parents, and teachers alike.
Thanksgiving Play &
Feast
Our Thanksgiving celebration is a time for students to learn about gratitude and the history of the holiday. Students perform in a Thanksgiving play and then share a feast with their classmates, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.
Christmas Sing &
Santa’s Visit:
The holiday season at Candil Hall is filled with joy and music. Our Christmas Sing is a delightful event where students perform holiday songs, spreading cheer to everyone in attendance. Santa also makes a special visit, adding an extra touch of magic to the celebration.
The Great American
Patriot Extravaganza:
A highlight of the year, this event celebrates the spirit of patriotism with student performances, activities, and lessons about American history. It’s an opportunity for students to learn about their country’s heritage in a fun and interactive way.
