Our Curriculum
Our educational purpose for your child is to ensure that all students thoroughly understand not only essential academic subjects, but understanding who they are as a person and how to treat others with kindness and respect. We deeply care about character development, patriotic values, and great citizenship.
Candil Hall teachers work to find instructional levels, group students appropriately, and then work to accelerate learning when possible. With rigorous curriculum and high academic expectations, many of our students work above grade level. Our teaching practices instill confidence in students to succeed in every subject.
Our curriculum day schedule consists of phonics, math, reading comprehension, grammar, writing, science, social studies, penmanship, and character education. We believe in personal responsibility, accountability, and respect. Our lessons, school activities, sports, and specials all focus on developing and growing the whole child.
